The end of Sem 1

Semesters,

The beginning of many things, the end of some,

The turning point of your life, that never seems to come.

I still remember the day when I first entered our first class on the first day of the first semester. It was a lab hour, and I was already late. Ik it wasn’t the most ideal situation, but as I was in the Physics cycle, I understood that everything isn’t ideal always… Well, that was me trying to justify myself for being late ig.

There were countless moments this semester where there were uncontrollable laughs and many more where there were uncontrolled laughs. Sometimes when things got sad and boring, we had friends who would do their best to cheer everyone else up, be ready to be the sacrificial goat for their fellow soldiers fighting this battle against their sleep and intrusive thoughts (mostly to open their box and start eating). There were moments when I honestly felt what was the point in going to college and almost staying back home, but I’m glad that I never did that. Even if my day started with a gloomy offset mood, spending just a few minutes with the amazing friends I am grateful for, cheered me up to be ready for the next day of college too.

Another part of university life is having a life outside the university during the university hours itself, aka bunking. The fear of lagging in attendance coupled with the fun we had was like experiencing being an RCB fan in a nutshell when you take our calculator to calculate while others are busy stealing your heart, kidney, and everything else. (Mom and Dad, if you are reading this, this was written purely for the blog, and I can assure you that I never bunked a single class in my first semester…Please, believe me, thanks)

But speaking on behalf of whoever wants me to speak on their behalf, university life is a different vibe altogether, and it’s like sand… The more you try to hold onto it, the more it trickles away from your grasp. Oh, and we didn’t get holidays, so I have already started my second sem. F in chat, please. See you next Monday!
