The rainy months of summer?

The month of May. The bright shining sun and the warm breezes of summer. The longer days with the short nights. The kids finish their morning routine and run to the swimming pool to spend the time of their life with their friends, running back to their house for a little lunch break, and escaping from their mother’s grasp to call their friends to play a game of cricket in the gullies of their neighborhood. What a sight to behold and be nostalgic with. But wait… Is that the sweat falling on their hands as they hold the cricket bat, or is it the dreaded afternoon rains?

Well, let me introduce you to Bengaluru. The Silicon Valley of India, the garden city, the IT hub of India, and so much more. But it’s renowned for one more thing. And that is the beautiful Bengaluru weather. It is hands down one of the best weathers that one can want from a city this size and this populous. You can never expect what’s in store for you the next day, or even in the next few hours if we are being honest. You can have the sunniest day without even a slight hint of humidity, and then have a downpour of the prettiest rain you have ever seen. It’s like the Sun gets shy and tries to hide behind the clouds as the clouds melt due to the heat of his touch.

Man, what less can we expect from one of the busiest and prettiest cities in the world? You can have your most sweaty day here and then walk out onto your terrace to get soaked in the smell of the wet soil, the sight of the pretty clouds, the sounds of the sweetest birds, and have a shower of tiny droplets of the sweet rain find their way to you. And only in Bengaluru, you “may” find all four seasons on the same day, every day. See you next Monday!
